These soft pumpkin oat treats are a simple way to add variety to your dog’s treat routine. Pumpkin is often used in dog-friendly recipes, but treats should stay a small part of the overall diet.

Ingredients
- 1 cup plain pumpkin puree with no added sugar or spices
- 2 cups rolled oats, blended into a coarse flour
- 1 egg
- Optional: a small amount of water if needed
Directions
- Heat the oven to 350°F.
- Mix the pumpkin, oat flour, and egg into a soft dough.
- Shape into small bites and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, then cool fully before serving.
Safety notes
Use plain pumpkin only. Never use pumpkin pie filling. Avoid ingredients such as xylitol, chocolate, raisins, grapes, onions, garlic, and excessive salt. Introduce any new treat gradually and ask your veterinarian before changing your dog’s diet, especially if your dog has a medical condition or food sensitivity.
Store refrigerated and use within several days. Treats are complementary food, not a replacement for a complete and balanced diet.
